This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit this website. This static website does not use contact forms, analytics or advertising services and, in its current configuration, does not set cookies.

2. Hosting by Netlify
This static website is hosted by Netlify. The provider is Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, California, USA. When you access the website, Netlify processes connection and access data that is technically necessary. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system and HTTP status code.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security and defend against technical attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and technically error-free provision of our website. Netlify processes the data as our processor under a data processing agreement.
Netlify may process data in the United States and through subprocessors in other countries. According to Netlify, transfers to the United States are based on its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework pursuant to Article 45 GDPR. Where that framework does not apply, the agreement with Netlify provides for the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Article 46(2)(c) GDPR.
Data is processed only for as long as necessary for delivery, security and troubleshooting. The specific period depends on the nature and purpose of the relevant log data and Netlify’s deletion periods. The data is then deleted or anonymised unless a statutory obligation or legitimate interest requires further retention. We do not create additional visitor logs ourselves and, with the purely static hosting used here, generally have no access to personal access logs for individual visitors.
3. Cookies, tracking and external content
In its current configuration, this website does not use cookies or similar technologies. It does not use audience measurement or advertising trackers and does not embed maps, videos or externally hosted fonts. A consent banner is therefore not currently required.
If such services are added later, this privacy policy will be updated before they are used and, where required by law, your consent will be obtained first.
4. External Google Maps links
This website only contains links to Google Maps; no map is embedded in the website. Merely visiting our website therefore does not transfer data to Google. Only after you click such a link do you leave our website. From that point, Google may process personal data, particularly your IP address and possibly location data, under its own responsibility. Google’s privacy policy then applies.
5. Contact by telephone
If you contact us by telephone, we process the information you provide – such as your name, telephone number and the content of your enquiry – solely to deal with your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract; in other cases, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
We delete this data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require continued storage.
6. Your rights
Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have the right of access under Article 15 GDPR, rectification under Article 16 GDPR, erasure under Article 17 GDPR, restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR and data portability under Article 20 GDPR.
Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise your rights, contact the controller named above. Under Article 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information is particularly relevant to a controller established in Berlin.
